Us too, and that’s part of what makes Aliens super cool! If you are tired of waiting to be abducted, then the next best “out of this world” experience is this coffee.

Another delicious Rwandan coffee, from Gishyita washing station owned by the Rwanda Trading Co. Grown 1640 masl in Kigarama, Karongi District. The coffee is a washed red bourbon.

Outstanding in all brewing methods, we have found the espresso to be complex, and akin to an excellent dry red wine. Aeropress yields a nuanced dark berry, fruits and a lingering sweetness that fills the nose. Milk application is caramel sweet, with a creme fresh fullness and a hint of toasted nuts. Similtaneously  bold and delicate, easy drinking while maintaining an interesting complexity. 

Our seasonal projects use fresh crops of specialty grade beans and may be a blend or single bean depending on the season’s produce.

We got a seriously delicious natural Rwandan coffee from from Gishyita washing station for you.  No matter if you prefer classic abductions, being held captive by space scum or simply getting poked and prodded, this coffee will have you pledging allegence to the republic in all brew methods.

Flavour Notes

Espresso:

Red apple, Black currents, Dry red wine, Complex!

Milk:

Full flavour, creme fresh, caramels,  hints of almonds. Behave already!

Recipes

We suggest a 1:2 ratio, (20 gm for 40gm espresso) and a 28Fi to 30 second extraction for a complex and intenseespresso.  try a faster shot for a smoother, easier drinking espresso with more focus on the berry notes.
